Slow & Steady Guided Ride

A Guided Ride offered collaboratively between Mountain Bike Therapy Australia and Rad Cycles and Gear.

This is a mindful, grounded, slow, patient and compassionate ride for Women and Gender Diverse Adults. Led by a Cis-Gendered Woman, Natalya.

An opportunity to connect to country and community in a slow and steady way. Photo and snack breaks are a definite.

Everything is invitation only - opt out or say “not today” if you need to.

If you are chasing Strava times or training for an event this is not the ride for you. No break ways, no drop policy, no one is left behind.

Ride Location:

- Walmer Recreation Reserve, Castlemaine

- Green to Blue style trails - a mixture of singletrack and gravel road

Date & time:

Sunday 18th January 2026

9:00am to 11:00am

Duration:

2 hours (approx. 1.5 hours riding including on trail break time)

Included:

- Bicycle & gear check

- Gentle Grounding & mindfulness activity pre ride with sharing circle

- Guiding by qualified MTB Coach/Guide with Wilderness First Aid certification

Pre-requites:

- Suitable for those who have ridden single track & are building confidence & skills with off road riding (not suitable for those who have not ridden off road). Ideal for mountain bikes.

- All riders must familiarize themselves & put into practice the “Responsible Riding Guidelines”

- Complementary pre-ride bike check at Rad Cycles & Gear or evidence of recent service.

- Check equipment list for required gear.

Cost:

$25.00 (if finances limit your participation please let us know when registering to be considered for a discount) .

Limited to 8 riders. Please give as much notice as possible if you are unable to attend so that your spot can be given to another rider.
